Well, how DO the systems shaping our world actually work?

What is a SYSTEM?

A system is an holon made whole by the bringing together of its parts. 'Holon' is the philosophical term that describes systems being made of constituent subsystems. As there appears yet to be no limit to the smallness and largeness of reality, where it seems to stretch on infinitely in magnitude, it is safe to imagine that every component of reality is infinitely made of this nature.

In systems, various classes of holons can be seen as the base of these areas of study. In computer science, the bit is the part, where in chemistry the elements form a part; humanities study people, even language is first built on the letter, or the vocal sound.

Something also required in a system is distinction, or dualities. A holon and anti-holon are combined, creating holon-types (archetypes) which are compared to one another. The black space and white space in a letter are combined to make letter-archetypes, where the words themselves are chunked together with negative space creating whole words.

You could think of the action of gluing/combining archetypes itsself as a kind of holon as well, as gravity and magnetism perform the combining of the holon and anti-holon at a different scale/intensity.

So, when we think about it, it is like there are three basic holons to the system. The holon(+H) defines what is being measured/observed, the anti-holon(-H) gives that holon a shape/distinction from other holons of its type, creating complexity. And finally, an emergent property of this becomes the comparison between various holon-antiholon combinations, which is like a summation-holon (∑H). So yes, Tesla was correct - 3 is the secret to the universe, and AI seems to recognize this too for its overuse of it.

Where 0 is like the -H, defining an empty space, 1 is the +H, defining a space filled. Binary truly is a simple language, with only two states that need to be compared; but it is also what makes it tricky if you are not familiar with it at all. (And this is also the distinction in how quantum systems work - instead of holons comparing themselves between only two states, the computer compares various states on the sine wave, and that comparison is calculated as a probability. this gives much more of a range for what can be computed therefore making the process of computation far more accurate, just as having various people compared through MBTI types is more ccurate than just having two scales to compare people by [ex. introvert/extravert]).

MORE EXAMPLES!

Mind/soul(alchemical sulfur), body(alchemical salt) and spirit(alchemical mercury) have been the triad distinction of what humans are. The body is a machine of many parts, where soul is that which moves through the body, though it is not a solid thing that can be 'proven'. When these things are combined together, it brings the whole living spirit of a person. In another analogy, the heart is the pump, the blood is what is pumped, and this working together creates the larger whole, the living heart. The triad was always the whole then, just as from the triangle is always derived the circle (through the action of the sine). And even the sine itsself is this system in action, where the peak(+H) and trough(-H) of the wave are combined together through the glue at its center, the ∑H.

Also also, the Newtonian idea (classical physics) of 'spooky action at a distance', or quantum entanglement, or when a particle chooses a state only after observation, CAN be explained by this explanation. Simply, two holons are a part of the same one larger system, and when one is defined, another is as well. Obviously, it is the act of observation which creates the distinction, as a system is created between observer and observed. When a holon is not being observed, it swims in the soup of probability (like Shrodinger's cat), and it is only the act of observation which closes, stopping the free-flow of energy.

How do systems tend to organize themselves?

Complexity, Entropy, Pressure, Hierarchy

Holons tend to integrate more holons into themselves over time(∑^xH/t), becoming more complex. When this complexity is not ordered, entropy increases. For example, if you were to log onto 2B2T on Minecraft, you would see total chaos where you spawn. 2B2T is an anarchist server, there are no rules, therefore nothing to organize/balance the space.

In comparison, something like a totalitarian government places itsself at the top and tries to organize everyone below with no regard for actual difference, which there will be in a system as complex as human social dynamics. Cracks seep through the walls of such a system because there is just too much variation in human expression than a system like that would really be able to contain. It is oppressive for this reason, requiring constant maintainence to lower entropy.

An ideal system is one which is able to provide a role to each kind of variation while still having a hierarchical structure. Society may be organized around a set of values then, or in more complex cases, something like an Gen-AI which is able to address and organize around specific individual needs. This system would allow warrior-type people and crafts-type people around a single objective (ex. exploration, betterment of self and humanity) while allowing those individual archetypes to express themselves.

In summary, systems naturally gather complexity over time, expressed as an increase in entropy. In order to lower this entropy, hierarchies are introduced. In order to decrease noise on one axis, a second axis is introduced. We are in a world of three dimensions, and have those dimensions to organize hierarchies to decrease the entropy gathered as we introduce more complex systems.

Increase in entropy/complexity is also experienced as pressure. When a bag of popcorn is heated in a microwave and the kernels expand, they release water as steam, which causes the bag to expand (along with the fact that popped corn takes up more space than unpopped kernels). This is pressure in the bag, and it can also be seen an increase of entropy/complexity. At the human level, I am reminded of this while listening to Paranoia ep by Goreshit of how paranoia is a result of increased entropy as well. A system is unable to keep up with the exponentially increasing complexity of a peoples, in which they begin to feel stifled and begin to blame one another for various issues, eventually leading to an internal (civil) war. What is needed then is a system which can balance/order the complexity once more, else the people will destroy themselves. The world we find ourselves in is not the result of any one group or tribe, but the inherent consequences of attempting to mix such complexity at the level we are at.
